The quality of the construction was exceptional and attention to detail impressive.
We approached Daniel looking for a design and build that was very specific to our needs. Right from the start we were impressed with the team taking time to understand our wants and needs then creating a design that was exactly what we were looking for.
The construction process was very smooth with the project team always responsive to anything we wanted or any queries we had.

We are so happy in our new home and can't fault how professional the whole process was from start to finish.
We absolutely love our new Davies Home. Right from our first meeting with Daniel on site it was apparent that the team at Davies Homes listened to what we wanted in our new build and did everything in their power to make this happen.
Every step of the way we found every one of the staff, consultants and sub-contractors so easy to deal with, making the whole process stress free. They were all very quick to answer any queries we had and the communication from Toni and Jake throughout the build was always very prompt and informative. We found Tom and his building team paid great attention to detail and everything was finished to a high standard.

A pleasure start to finish!
From the moment we met the owner Daniel we felt like we had come to the right place. Large enough to have great buying power and small enough that we weren't simply a number.
As we passed through the process we built strong relationships with all the staff and their ideas, inspiration and commitment to a top build was outstanding.
We are completely in love with our new house and had over day was special, as we drove in to see so many working furiously to showcase our home and hand over the keys. A pleasure from start to finish!

The build went so smoothly and was exactly to budget and time frame.
I dealt with Daniel right from the beginning of my build and he was able to design a house which included the requirements of my brief but with fresh ideas and flair. He kept changing it until I was 100% happy. His fixed contract was very clear as to what was included in the pricing. I then dealt with Toni who was so helpful with the paperwork, making appointments with interior, bathroom and kitchen designers etc prior to the start of the build.
Once the building started it was Catherine & Jake who I then dealt with on an almost daily basis. They were so approachable and provided many of their ideas and made sure everything was running according to plan. One thing that really impressed me was that Jake never left the site without ensuring we were happy with everything. The build went so smoothly and was exactly to budget and time frame.
We have referred Davies Homes to two lots of our friends who are now in the process of building their new homes with them. In fact we were so impressed with our dealings with Davies Homes only 6 months later we contracted with them to build us another house which once again went exactly to plan with no hiccups. After viewing numerous showhomes by different builders, we kept gravitating back to Davies' original showhome in the Pukekura subdivision.
Daniel was able to offer alternatives for anything we wanted to change, although this ended up being very minimal. Jake did an excellent job as Project Manager.

7 years on the whole home still looks great!
We purchased our home from Davies Homes 7 years ago. At the time we were impressed by the quality of the workmanship, including the finish. Real quality at a reasonable cost. 7 years on the whole home still looks great!
Nothing has moved, no hairline cracks and the finish is still good as new. At the time we built we nearly used a franchise-type builder. We are glad we didn't.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Davies Homes to anybody thinking of building a new home.
From the first day we walked into Davies Homes Cambridge office to ask about available sections, we were treated with great courtesy and shown site plans of sections available.
We wished to go a step further so we left our contact number. Within a couple of hours we were contact by Daniel Davies. When meeting him we explained what we wanted, he took notes, took us to see some properties in the build process, we were very impressed. We then had various meetings with Daniel, of which he brought along full sized plans. He worked with us and changed them until we were happy and it met our budget.
At no time were we put under pressure to rush to the contract stage. One of the best and most enjoyable parts was watching the build progress. We were given an app that had the full schedule of the build, so we could see at a glance, each stage and approximate completion date. (After a 4-week COVID shutdown, completion was only 2-weeks late).

To those who say building is stressful, I'm not sure what they are referring to.
I knew from the moment that Daniel sat at my kitchen bench with a pad, pencil and ruler that I was in good hands. There was no pushy sales pitch, no glitzy electronic presentations, no suit and tie.
There was however an immediate and genuine sense that Daniel was willing to take the time to listen and really understand what was important to me. The benefit of being able to draw on Daniel's vast experience meant seeing my dream home become a reality, and to take possession of a home that is truly unique to me.

Daniel came up with solutions that were unique and budget focused, and overall met our home vision. The entire design process was easy, with step by step assistance and guidance. We were confident upon signing the contract with Davies, as all aspects of the build were itemised and clear.
We knew exactly what to expect in relation to the overall cost and timing for delivery. Throughout the build process, nothing was an issue for Daniel, Jake, and their team. They were accommodating with any proposed changes, with a "nothing to hide" attitude. Daniel went over and above for us if there were any issues - nothing became our problem, meaning an extremely stress-free and pleasant build experience.

Thanks to Davies Homes, we are able to enjoy the house and lifestyle that we have always dreamed of.
As first time home builders, we were nervous. Deciding to build with Davies was easy; we really liked the Davies style and because we wanted something different, it was important for us to go with a company who could promise us something unique and reflective of our personalities.
We dealt directly with Daniel himself which made us feel valued and understood, and kept the nerves at bay; I still admire Daniel and his team's patience with my many frantic phone calls about last-minute changes! While Daniel was open to our ideas and receptive to our "have-tohave's", he was also realistic about what would suit the site, the design and most importantly our budget.
From the outset, we told Daniel we did not want to exceed our budget, and he worked so carefully with us around this, that in the end, we came in under budget. We have a beautiful home, the kind of home that when we enter the driveway, we can't believe it belongs to us.
We have since referred three other couples to Davies and they have all built with them and are extremely happy with the result. Should we ever build again, Davies will be the first step of the journey.
